Job Summary:  Evangelist is responsible for proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, leading evangelistic efforts, and nurturing spiritual growth among believers. This role involves preaching, teaching, counseling, and engaging in outreach activities to share the message of salvation and disciple individuals in their faith journey.

Responsibilities:

1. Preach and Teach: Deliver dynamic and biblically sound sermons, evangelistic messages, and teachings focused on sharing the Gospel and building up believers in their faith.

2. Conduct Evangelistic Outreach: Lead evangelistic campaigns, crusades, or events to reach the lost with the message of salvation. Engage in personal evangelism and participate in outreach efforts in the local community or mission trips to other regions or nations.

3. Discipleship and Counseling: Provide spiritual guidance, mentorship, and counseling to individuals seeking to grow in their faith or explore Christianity. Support believers in their spiritual journey and equip them to live out their faith in their daily lives.

4. Equip and Train: Facilitate evangelism training sessions, workshops, or discipleship classes to equip believers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to share their faith effectively. Mentor emerging leaders and disciple others to become effective evangelists.

5. Collaborate with Church Leaders: Work closely with pastors, church leaders, and ministry teams to coordinate evangelistic efforts, plan outreach events, and support the overall mission and vision of the church. Contribute insights and expertise to shape the church’s evangelism strategy and initiatives.

6. Personal Evangelism: Lead by example through personal evangelism, actively sharing the Gospel with friends, family members, colleagues, and strangers encountered in daily life. Demonstrate a passion for reaching the lost and a commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission.
